This is a variant of the Intruder Alarm/Forbidden Orchard combo that I have been playing recently.
Enshrined Orchard
Creatures (16) 4 Birds of Paradise 4 Sakura-Tribe Elder 3 Eternal Witness 4 Kokusho, the Evening Star 1 Myojin of Life's Web
Combo Enablers (18) 2 Gifts Ungiven 4 Echoing Decay 4 Lifespark Spellbomb 4 Intruder Alarm 4 Enshrined Memories
Alternate Kill Cards (3) 1 Fireball 1 Consume Spirit 1 Staff of Domination
Lands (23) 4 Forbidden Orchard 2 Mountain 3 Swamp 4 Island 10 Forest
SB: 2 Detonate 2 Pyroclasm 2 Dosan the Falling Leaf 2 Defense Grid 3 Naturalize 2 Gaea's Herald 2 Troll Ascetic
The idea is to make infinite mana with the Lifespark/Intruder/Orchard....then either draw your deck with Staff or get all your creatures with Enshrined memories. Cast Myojin of Life's Web. If it gets countered cast one of the Witness to get it back and try again. Once you cast Myojin, put all 4 Kokusho into play with the divinity counter ability...that should be game.

how cool would it be to put like nausea in here with shriveling rot?
i dunno, just a thought i had.

i think some shoals would be tight just because they are very powerful X spells and you are playing with infinite mana. Like Blazing Shoal for +1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000/+0 would be sooooo cool on like a witness or something. and shining shoal, preventing limitless amounts of damage

thing is, though, once he's got infinite mana, he wins. blazing shoal would never serve a purpose that would be useful. shining shoal is reactive, and if he has infinite mana he's probably not going to burn his spellbomb to prevent limitless damage.
shoals might be interesting against a mirror match... but this isn't going to be something you'll see on the other side of the table once you're playing it.

i still think that Blazing Shoal would be an awesome way to kill someone, especially with 300 Billion mana

yeah but he achieves infinite mana by making his opponent get infinite creatures.
infinite creatures = infinite blockers.

I usually win with 4 Kokusho, but there are times when something gets countered or disrupted.....then I'm dead no matter what happens next. That is why I am trying to work Echoing Decay into the build.
Nausea and Shriveling Rot are ok, but they kill Witness and Birds. If I can't finish the job immediately, I don't want to kill my side of the table too.

if i were you i would try it with Decay instead of Scrying and see how it works. it might help you

Yeah, the Scrying was just an extra means of getting the Orchard, but a good Gifts Ungiven can do the same thing. I think I'll edit the list to include the Decays.

Realmlord, how do you test?
do you use Magic Online, or your son, or Apprentice, or what?

When testing I take the deck to the local store in Fallston, MD on Mondays and play in FNM on Fridays. I also test with my son and brother. I joined Magic League to use apprentice, but have never played anyone yet.

Well..... unfortunately, my brother is moving to Arkansas in two weeks. Then I'm moving to Nebraska in June. So it seemed as though my son and I would be the only ones to do testing.........until
We found a new testing group in Nebraska. The group tests at the judges house on Thursday nights. They play a rotating format on Friday nights. Every other week is Type II, then the rotation for the other weeks is Type 1, Type 1.5, Extended, Sealed, Current Block, Peasant (unsanctioned), other as needed....rinse, repeat. I have been in regular contact with the judge and he invited me and my son to join the testing group.
