i think the deck is solid. BigD and I have been working on a BG deck for Kamigawa Block(which D has won a tournament with(Go Flaming Munchkins)) and that deck could give your UG version a big problem. Cards like Distress, Nezumi Shortfang, adn Cranial Extraction really hurt this deck, so be sure to be able to deal with those threats

speaking of craniel extractions we really need to get some of those since we used mine in the trade with junior for the wogs and stuff on another note w221 if you could please become a member it would be much appreciated and additionally there is already a descusion on the tournament board for this deck(blue green UG)

good call but in the newbies defense this is a block deck
we should start a block thread
btw Extractions are only going for like 10-15 right now so now is a good time to buy

They have Private Messaging for a reason.
Anyway, this seems fairly solid, one thing I have to say, though, is up the Top count to 4. It really works well in this environment. Maybe take out the Defiances and Restraints and stick in 3 Quash to up the Top count to 4.

they have private messanging for a reason(mocking tone).
Jameson, me and D are the only ones who post anyways so it is pretty much a giant private messanging thing anyways

Well, not to nag, but it definitely sounds like a coffee house on here. We're here to discuss a block U/G deck, and it's only fair to discuss it in every post on the thread.
I just wanted to add to my deck help half, why Reweave? I don't think it's that busted. I think something a little better could grab the spot. You could replace Reweave with Eye of Nowhere for bounce, or replace it with Quash, then up the Top count to 4 by slashing Thoughtbind.

I will help this poor bastard who can't answer his own goddam questions.
Reweave is very unique becasue it is one of the few cards that Blue has that can actually DESTROY a permanent. Lands, critters, enchantments, etc. this guy can take them all, and that feature is very nice at times.
However, i am disappointed at the lack of Quashes since it is a really really cool card

nah it is definately not better because quash can only hit instants or sorceries

and Extraction will always nail every copy of an instant or sorcery it names.

actually Quash does that too, i think you are confusing it with the other ones like Scour and Eradicate beacuse you can't really have an instant in play. it just doesn't work out too well

no i know, i'm just saying, not only can extraction do quash's job, but it can do more, it's more easily splashable, AND it's arcane.

hmmm
you are mostly right, even though quash is nice because he can stop those crazy instants from hitting the stack and removes them forever.
but for the most part i agree with you one hundred dillion percent
for those of you not in the know, dillion is a number that i came up with by accident at comics one day. we don't know exactly how much it is, but its a lot
