X-Box. Just kidding. Go with CoK. The middle set of a block is almost always the most inferior. However, if you already have enough thingy, er I mean CoK, then go with the new one, and sell everything you won't play within the first week of it being out, while it's hot.

i would wait until the next set comes out. while it is true that most middle sets aren't quite as strong, you have a much better chance of pulling chase rares, uncommons, foils, etc with a middle set box becasue there aren't as many cards.

I would go with either CoK or Mirrodin, mostly because Mirrodin has some awesome power rares (Mox, Simulacrum, etc.) and Champions has a greater chance of getting you nasty amounts of good cards, commons and uncommons in that set are tech as heck (no rhyme intended).

Personally, Onslaught is tight because it has Fetchlands, Baltoh, Awesome Goblins, Exxalted Angel(the triple x is for hot), and other awesome rares. plus it has cool uncommons like Smother

Nice job, Andy, you definitely had only 2 x's in EXXXALTED ANGEL (she's so sexy she made Asia Carrera hot under the collar... yeah that's right, I made a p0rn reference).

Yes, Agreed..either save for Ravnica or for 9th Edition (most of the staple cards for Type 2 are in the Core Sets)

hmmm
maybe
thats a good thought
but i don't like buying core sets
most of the stuff in them i already have, and the rest of it like Wraths are really rare to open; or at least i never do

well see the way i look at it you have to open core sets at some point, so it's better to drop cash that was a gift onto it or request it after you've won a box of your choice than to spend money you really worked hard to earn. if you spend the hard-earned money, how would you feel opening a zur's weirding and blessed reversal?
