I think Braids decks will make a comeback....but you may not want to stick with B/G. B/R and B/R/W could be good choices.

Yeah, BRW could also be pretty good.
Flametongue, Braids, VIndicate, Terminate sounds pretty good to me, and all in one deck

You also have the option of Death Grasp and Gerard's Verdict. It is something that should be looked into!

some rock decks these days run braids.
okay, not even some run her. a select few do.
she becomes quite a threat when you stick a sword on her.
greater harvester is actually very similar to braids, but he's beefier. maybe if you had a deck based around braids you could include a few copies of him. i know he sucks, but he is actually like braids.

yeah, the thing is though is that with the Harvester, he costs one more and he has to hit a player to do his thing all Braids has to do is just sit pretty

yeah. i know she's a very good card. i'm just saying, if you needed more braids effects, harvester is actually your second-best bet.
but nothing beats braids.
now, i don't know if i can contribute to this thread anymore, seeing as how i never played braids and don't know how it functions. a lot of decks i play that mimic older decks have a good deal of redundancy to them. for instance, in braids, i would suggest B/G with dumb sheet like Symbiotic creatures or Incarnations. or even something like One with Nature. it would turn braids into a powerhouse, then smash with her, thus incorporating greater harvester more easily.

oh yeah it does that is a nice lock right there if you have a creature cheaper than braids just sac and return they can stack all in the same upkeep

that be why turn 4 Braids on the play is downright nuts

hmmmm
i don't know about that. think about it though, what will it really accomplish? i mean it might be ok against other rock decks, but RDW will just burn it down, Tog will just counter it, Madness will drop enough Flying fatties to killl you before it matters, Chant will just sit back and laugh because they can't sacrifice COnfinement to it(or in my case shoot it with a masticore) and thats all i got.

yeah well the metagame i saw from my wanderings was something like...
25% Goblins 23% Psychatog 17% the Rock 12% Affinity 8% RDW 6% Madness 9% Other
that's like random numbers i pulled out of I disagree, i know they're not exact but they are relatively accurate. there was craploads of goblins, craploads of tog, bunches of Rock and Affinity, RDW and Madness were prevalent and there was other stuff.
in this, tog has to pop land to braids, goblins has to pop lands or good creatures, the rock has to lose some good stuff, affinity has to lose some really good stuff (possibly the weakest deck to Braids), RDW loses lands or weenies like fanatics or pups, madness can beat me still, but it still eats at their land base... bottom line being if i drop braids it's actually not half bad against the biggest decks in the meta.

but again, Rock, RDW, and Goblins can all just murder it after one activation.
look, i am not saying that it isn't good. i love Braids, its totally the nuts. however, i do think that it is unsuited for this environment, much like the UW control deck i will be playing post rotation

yeah, that's fine.
i really don't have a problem with the deck as it stands. if anything, i really would like swords instead of jittes.
