Okay, my idea was to create a deck that everyone contributes to. That way, we have everyone's expertise and ideas. The first thing with any deck is to figure out what format we're going to be making it for. Choose one of the options:
What card pool are we using? 1. Block 2. Standard (a.k.a. Type 2) 3. Extended (a.k.a. Type 1.x) 4. Vintage (a.k.a. Type 1)
My vote is for Extended.

I'm out, the fact that i'm not here most of the year to actually use it kinda gives me a disadvantage. Also, I got 2 pernicious deeds that i'll be willing to trade for 1 vamp since its restricted in T1 Jameson.

Okay, people. I voted for Extended for our deck. I've seen two other people post on this thread but still I have no votes for any other format. We have a long way to go before we can use this deck, so let's try to get on task here. Who's voting for what format?

argument- type 2 is the best format becasue games there ar much more based on player skill as well as the fact that it is a format limited enough to let you take full advantage of the new mechs regardless of how useless they really are

Okay Danny, I'm switching my vote. If we can get this going fast enough, maybe, MAYBE we can build a deck for States.
That makes two votes for Type 2. Anyone else?

jameson, if you built your type 2 deck like danny and i did, you wouldn't have had to drop after the fourth round.

If I hadn't built B/G you two wouldn't have had the idea. So STFU.

Actually, Me and Danny thought of the deck mostly on our own on a Backpacking trip in the last week of September.

i don't know. danny might have mentioned that you were considering it, adn we were like, oh ok what could we add to that kind of deck.
we designed it almost completely on the trail out of boredom

i think kevin needs to get over the whole record thing. i had bad matchups, and i'm not going to blame them fully, but they certainly affected me. i played flawlessly with my build, i just kept losing. but you know what? i don't care. i had a fine time. winning isn't everything. there are other reasons why i play magic.
and i especially think kevin should drop it, since he never showed up at states to post his own record.
and for one last thing, kevin, there's an old piece of advice: if you don't have something helpful to say, don't say anything. no one wants to hear your constant berating anymore, especially not me, and if you're doing it for laughs, the entertainment value died a long time ago.
and for future reference, you're lucky i'm hard to offend, because a more proud person would not still consider you a friend.
