I dunno but I'm thinking Night of Souls' Betrayal could be killer.
Okay, I'm done with those for a while.
Mono-Blue Control... Kira and her kin of glasskites?
-twitch- The Unspeakable?
Hinder, duh. Condescend, Disrupting Shoal. Quash?
Echoing Truth, duh. Vedalken Shackles. AEther Spellbomb? Eye of Nowhere? Boomstick?
...Island, duh.
heh.
mono-blue control could be interesting for regionals. i'm not sure about it, but maybe a few quality decklists would appease me. please?

EFF Mono-U EFF IT IN THE A'. It's all about MBC. I know this isn't the place for the MBC thingamajigger, but why not, right? Toshi and the instant speed kill that black has can be pretty devastating. Or you could team it up with blue for some crazy shizznit. Like, Rend flesh/spirt in response to a spell, then using Toshi's ability, after the creature dies, you "flashback" a counter. Pissing them off, and effectively "boo-tay sexing" the stack to the fullest extent of your cruelness. Teehee.

Actually I think a U/B control deck with Toshi would be nasty. But, Kira, Meloku, Keiga, lots of counters/bounce and the greatness that is Bribery can't be ignored. Here is a deck that I have been involved in developing:
21 Islands
2 Keiga, The Tide Star 1 Meloku, The Clouded Mirror 1 Kira, Great Glass Spinner
4 Boomerang 4 Eye of Nowhere 2 Regress 4 Echoing Truth 4 Mana Leak 2 Condescend 3 Pulse of the grid 3 Thirst for Knowledge 1 Bribery
4 Chrome Mox 4 Isochron Scepter Sideboard: 3 Vedalken Shakles 4 Unsummon 2 Quash 1 Evacuation 2 Bribery 2 Condescend

i think that deck is pretty hot. however, there are indeed a few changes i would like to suggest(please give feedback). -take out Regress. it does the same thing that boomerang does and can't be sceptered. -take out Pulse of the Grid. all it does is net you like one card adn since yours is the more controling deck(most likely) it will not return. -with the five slots you have remaining, add 3 oblivion stones, and 2 Acquire/Bribery. i personally like acquire becuase it can get retarded stuff like Mindslaver
hope some of that helps
btw, a lot of our team is going to ptq in WestCHester PA(near Harrisburg and we would welcome you to come join us)

yeah, i think the Regresses could be dropped for more Bribery or Acquire goodness. if you're committed to a bounce spell, AEther Spellbomb would be cool, and could potentially draw you a card if you needed that more. Serum Visions is another great card, and in my opinion is about 10 times better than the Pulses.

i think that acquire would be your best bet
btu don't forget about Ostone since that card can reset your board for you

Yes, we'll be in Westchester for the PTQ.
For the MUC deck. You would be surprised how often you get Pulse of the Grid back. Since you are usually bouncing the land of your opponent early, then their creatures later, they will usually have a full grip. It is weaker than TFK since you only dig 2 deep. I think I can go without it.
Regress is for Mana Denial redundancy. The idea of the deck is Mana Denial + Counters. With 10 spells that can bounce any permanent you should come out with a quickness.
I thought about dropping the Scepters, but Leak on a Scepter after you bounce a couple of lands means nearly nothing they play will resolve.
O-Stone is a good idea, a bit slow, but since all the bounce makes time I can see it.
I think I'll try -3 Pulse of the Grid, +1 TFK +2 O-Stone just for testing. I'm also thinking about Early Frost to exploit the Mana Denial portion of the deck.
Thanks for the help.

Jameson im not trying to make fun of you maybe i should have phrased that differently, im just saying if you guys had the same deck ideas then you guys would have had the same problems with the same match-ups and probably would have had close to the same records, im not making fun of anyone as i stated on the last post when we had that argument so i don't know why Andy is parading around saying burn burn.. To Realmlord do you post on mtgnews?

Life12, I haven't posted on mtgnews in a long time. When I did, the username was realmlord.
I spend most of my board time on Brainburst, Xerocreative, and Mtg Salvation.
